So, maybe you guys already saw the newest Disney Store Princesses, the original 6 Princesses have an awesome new styled dresses and hairs (except for poor Cindy,her hair style is ugly).
But Ariel's design is definitely one of my favorites, she is beautiful and her gown omg I love it. She has two dresses, this one [link] in green and another one without sleeves [link] [link] in pink and green.
I don't wan to make for her a green or pink dress again, so I chose the gold, in my opinion Ariel in gold is just perfect :meow: *maybe I'll do her in blue too :3*

I'm telling Belle! Ariel can't steal her color. She needs variety yes but does not need to resort to swiping other princess' colors. LOL!

It's a color coordinates thing. Red and pink clash it's a terrible thing to use. Aurora can get away with pink because she's blonde but she looks better in blue. This is why everyone is mostly relieved that Ariel now wears a much more fitting seafoam green with lilac accents as it reflects her mermaid form, I don't dislike the style of her movie dress just the fact that is pink but since Ariel's hair is dark red and not the awful orange-red I can tolerate the pink dress for a little while but she still shouldn't wear it.

I have drawn her in the pink one as well before but when I realized red and pink clash I started drawing her in the dress but recolored it seafoam green which was much better and far more fitting. I do intend to do a movie correct series (with minor censorship on Jasmine as I choose not to draw girls bearing their midriff) for the princesses very soon and I'll be working backwards from Rapunzel so when I get to Ariel I will draw the pink one even though I despise the color
